Default Which fan clutch (OEM or Aftermarket)?

I am replacing my water pump this weekend and guess I should replace the fan clutch. I see them ranging from $50 new on eBay to $230on up at the British parts sites.

Any quality $50 clutches out there that I can use? Thoughts?
I am leaning towards this one:
http://www.britishpartsofutah.com/Ra...p/err4996a.htm because I got the water pump from there.

Found a Hayden 2991 Made in USA locally for under $60. Think I'm good, thanks! Sorry for the rush post - my parts are coming in the mail tomorrow and procrastinated on the clutch until today.

If my Disco II is parked in the woods with nobody around and it breaks, does it still cost me money?

I used a 55.00 unit from Auto Zone which was made in the USA some I'm guessing it's truly a Hayden. Didn't have to modify any holes & it came with new bolts as well.

Probably a little late, bit you could always do an electric fan swap which is only about $70.

I ended up going with Amazon's 1-day shipping on a Hayden, but they emailed me later saying they can't deliver on the 1-day promise and it may arrive Saturday.

I may go check out a clutch locally, but doubt they are made in USA from what I've seen online from O'reilly and Auto Zone for less than $99.

Thanks

I just bought one from Auto Zone last week. 55.00-65.00, and yes it clearly had Made in USA on it. Works great and it came with new bolts vs having to reuse those silly OEM Allen Bolts.

If you want the Hayden 2991 try Summit Racing. It's in stock, and more often than not it will ship overnight for about $66.92 total.

Better yet walk into Auto Zone & walk out with it lol. Plus if u spend more than 20.00 five times you get 20.00 back!

I was very happy with the quality of the Auto Zone unit.
