Default Fan Clutch Operation

There has been a good roar with the engine lately. Today I was doing some maintenance and noticed the fan clutch is 'frozen' on my D1. Ya can't turn it when vehicle is cold or hot. It's not sloppy, just can't turn it unless ya really pull hard. Normally that means it shot, but just checking to see if L/R are different. Thank you,

Mark G

It is shot. Replace it before you throw your fan through the hood.

Change It. I had one throw a fan and it destroyed all my air intake plumbing and a blade went through the hood. Very expensive repair post the bomb.
