I am going to put in some electric fans and wanted to know the easyest way to remove fan clutch, i can do it w/o help but just was looking for some tips.

Do you have the Discovery workshop manual? If not I could send you it in pdf format, someone kindly gave it to me. It's a Disco 1 Workshop.
But I can tell you when I did it on my 94 Defender that you have to unbolt it from the other direction - right or counter clockwise.
Hope this helps,
Matthew

Sorry to hear that. the same happened to me on July 4th. I accually had a piece go through the hood. What you will need is to disassemble the cowls. then get you a fan clutch removal tool from autozone a ford one will work. then once you have access to fan and clutch assy then remove with wrenches. you will have to replace the fan clutch and fan assy. out of vehicle.
