Default Fan runs all the time after warm up

Is this normal for the engine fan to be constantly running after warm up?

Have you lifted up the hood and taken a look at what it is making the noise? These aluminum engines transmit a lot of heat so the fan runs a lot.

I did....the fan is definitely running but it could have been the air pump or the AC making the sound too....its wierd. I wouldnt think the fan would be that loud. It is not a squeeking or a bad sound, just a fan type sound....hope I dont sound like an idiot here lol

I would not worry about sounding like an idiot. I'm fairly certain I sound like an idiot a few times a day. Or so says my wife.

On the truck is it getting hotter than normal? That is does your temp gauge go above halfway ever?

Which fan is it? The electric fan or the clutch fan?

Ok, but now here is the tricky part, the clutch fan will spin whenever the engine is running, BUT is the clucth siezed up? Is the truck running to hot?
The electric fans will run when the a/c is on or is a overheat situation.
The clucth fan will come on when the truck gets to hot or when the clutch goes bad and stays on all the time.
SO, with the engine running and the a/c off open the hood, have your wife turn the engine off, does the clutch fan stop straight away or does it free spin for a few seconds?
