Default Fault code P1175 Service Engine Soon

So before this light came on, about 5 days ago, the rover stalled sitting at a red light. It's never done that before. It started right up, and I went on my merry way. Two days later I went and got my emissions done, and passed. Then again, sitting at a red light, she spuddered a bit then acted just fine with a smooth idel. Then my wife had the disco and she called to tell me the Service engin soon light was on. Went then to auto zone to get teh codes, and I got a p1175 "Tune up". I changed the plugs and wires @ 50,000, and I got 80,000 miles on it now. Can anyone give me a little direction as to where I need to address this issue.

Thanks for any help you may give me, and I will fallow up with my resolve so that other can be helped in the future.

The 1175 isn't on my list. When it stalls, how easily does it restart?

It start right up. No issues. And there is not and "hard starts". I have had the light come on in the past, but that was due to the gas cap. And maybe my wife did not put the cap on tight enough, but the sall, an then the spudder acting where my red flag's that something is going on.

If the codes not on your list, that might explain why I could not find it in my web searches.

Let me know if anything changes, and if it does, you might want to call me so we can talk more in detail.

It's possible that Autozone's scanner or the user screwed up. Sure is nice to have one of your own sitting in the garage- well worth the 80 bucks, IMHO. I would check the codes again.

MMmmm, So What I'll try to do is find a different place (not auto zone) and get the codes rerun.

Disco Mike, you just made my Christmas list with your gracious offer. Much thanks. But I will try to do my due diligence first before bother you. Also I use to live In Highlands Ranch. I miss the views of the snow caps.

P1175 = System too lean (bank 2) Additive injector fuelling- lean limit exceeded RH bank.

Don't drive it IMHO.

Either you're getting too much air or not enough fuel to the right hand bank of cylinders. I'd start with a can of Chevron fuel injector cleaner to possibly cure the latter. If you're getting too much air, an intake manifold leak is a good possibility.

Also,I received the same code on my Nissan Maxima a couple of years ago and a new mass airflow sensor cured the problem. Incorrect airflow measurment by the MAF can cause the ECU to dial back the fuel flow, hence the lean condition.
