What is wrong with you ABS, what repairs have you made and what codes is it showing? Then we will talk about CDL and how to do it. With out the ABS you won't have traction control, which takes away some of your traction that the CDL will give you.

I get the trio lights once a year, for the last 5 years, always a different code including speed sensors, had them cleared, nevere replaced parts and still running strong with no lights.
Try having them cleared and then drive it for awhile, usually the lights won't come back cause what tripped the fault in the first place was a momentary glitch and not a failure.

mike they usally stay off for 1k miles then back on. i live in mass so 4wd is a need more than a want. would the cdl work if the light's are on? what would it do? would i have the norm one wheel on each axel spinning? would i have no better traction wiht it locked and TC not functioning?
p.s i had the light's turned off and they stayed off for the ride home have not driven it more than 7 miles.
