I don't have any personal experience with their Rover gaskets, but don't see any ill reason not to use them. I always suggest running a bead of permatex around the gasket to ensure a quality seal.
Take note of the torque specs for the VC's - I think they call for ~7 or 10 ft/lbs. Sont quote me, best to verify.

I used the FelPro I bought from Oreillys. Cleaned all surfaces diligently, I did not use any products whatsoever. Just clean, dry surfaces and gasket straight out of the box. You don't need any permatex, etc if the gasket is seated perfectly and surfaces are prepped well. LocTite and proper torque specs required to get this task done properly. Loctite* and 2-step torque sequence are your best friends. Clean the bolts well if you reuse them. People just throw the **** on there with some ticky-tack and call it "leaky VC problem with the D2" when the gasket fails a year later.

Thanks gents I appreciate all the info. I bought one of those oil seperater things as well. Need to make sure I get all the old one out.
I have to get a new torque wrench. Mine is a 1/2 inch Craftsmen. A bit big for this job Anyone know if the ones Harbor Frieght sells are accurate?
I still have an intermittent miss on #5 so I'm going to inspect and replace the o rings on all the injectors while I'm at it.
