Fender Flares / Wheel Arches
Has anyone tried the fender flares/wheel arches from Atlantic British or Lucky 8? They both look the same, I think they are Britpart. I'm wondering how they compare to the OEM wheel arches.
Mine are very, very rough and worn, needing much more than just some scuffing and repainting. I've been slaving away at sanding mine (I've already removed them). I've primed and painted a couple of them, using 3 different finishes, and I'm just not thrilled with the results. It's been a ridiculous amount of time. I really don't want to put them back on if they come out crappy. And I like the relatively smooth finish of the originals, not the rough herculiner/line-x finish.
Might just pull the trigger and try them. Hoping someone has already done that and can give a review.
Thanks,
Sean.

Should be double-sided tape like the originals.
Taking them off was not too bad, a combination of fishing line and trim tools. But an eraser wheel was definitely a requirement to get the adhesive off the vehicle. Made it so much easier.
Cleaning the adhesive off the flares was a complete pain. The eraser wheel was indispensable for that too. And a ton of plastic razor blades. Literally hours and hours of scraping and sanding...
