Default Finally bought 265/75/16 Coopers S/T

Hello All,

I went with 265/75/16 Discoverer Coopers S/T because Spike threatened that if I didn't get the same kind of tires he has he would ___________ me. (fill in with what you want)

So here are the pics....enjoy

Nice sneakers. Now trim your front bumper and do a writeup.

well the ride is nice and noise is just a faint hum that is expected with aggressive tread like these. Spike should chime in and tell me what i should be expecting.

Looking good Josh.
You will like them alot, to bad you dont get any snow in the tropics, they are GREAT in the snow, they dig right in and bite.
No need to air down in sand either, I run in sand over the rims no problem (your rims never shone so good after a run in the deep sand)
Now take them out to the old sugar mills and try them out.

And now that I dont have to come down there and _____ you I will just come down and shake your hand.

This are are some hard looking meat tires. What is the height from the ground to your rim? I'm curious. Since I have a 245/70/16 Bridgstone Duelers Revo's. They are too new to trade out. But I am temped once I move out west in the Winter. Too bad they do not review or sell any Cooper tires on TireRack.com.

I don't know guys now that you have me looking at Cooper tires, the Cooper STT LT look really angry. I wonder if this size would fit without any rubbing 225/75R16

The STT's from what I have heard do not wear well and def are no good in the snow.
Almost any mud tire will be crap in the snow, no siping and harder rubber to hold up against rocks.
When tires get cold they get hard, start with a hard tire and it gets harder and then you are not going to be happy.
Talked to one of our club members about a set of BFG mud T/A's he had for sale and he ran them one winter and had to park the truck when it got cold because it was unsafe to drive.
He lived in the country so a city dweller with plowed roads might have better luck.

I love the coopers... I am running them on my Jeep and my Dodge 1 ton! It really changed my Dodge and made it usable offroad! I have 20K on the tires and still lots of thread. I had been running BF Goodrich Radial T/As 35-12.5-17s and they were way too soft! Thread was gone at at 20K! I just was looking for some to put on the Disco. IT has street tires and they suck Only draw back is some tire hum at speed and it gets worse with larger tires like the 35s on my truck...my friends can here them when they talk to me on the phone...
