Question Finally got a 05 Discovery!!!
I have purchased a 2005 Discovery.. I did not purchase an extended warranty yet because I wanted to research it better before I decide. We intend to drive this car about 15 to 25 thousand miles per year. I have been looking into aftermarket warranty's and will be shopping around for Manufacture's warranty's also. I am in need of advice in this area. Thank You for any insight.

All of us here are Discovery I & II's which were last made in 2004.

yeah, your LR3 is very different from our discoveries

Every where in the World the LR3 (USA) its know as a Discovery 3 and
now a Discovery 4.

Only in North America are they known as the LR3 and LR4.
The rest of the world they are the Discovery 3&4.

I would get the warranty on any rover. That's the first year so hopefully the problems are ironed out. Is it at a L/R dealer?
