Same thing happened to me this morning ordering o2 sensors. He asked me who makes a Land Rover.

Then about 2 min later I noticed a "10 years of service" button on his name tag....

 

And you let them do it anyway! Its a toyrover land finder 4WD.

 

Ah, I see. I guess rebalanced is too clear and simple. Not as cool.

 

It costs more to have a tire re-spun than just to rebalance it

Don't feel bad NT.......it happens to all of us......
I pulled in to the local convenince store to get gas and when I went in to pay there was a long line....so I got a cup of coffee and got in line....meanwhile the cashier was asking everyone who came to the counter if they had the "black jeep" , of course there was NO jeep on the lot..just my black DiscoI, everybody of course said "NO", now it was my turn.."do you have the black jeep ?" I said no, and handed her $22. for the gas and coffee..
she said what else did you need ? I said" nothing just the coffee and gas"...she went on again & again with the black jeep stuff.....finally I couldnt take it any more and told her that I'd pay for the gas for the land rover....she looked me and said "dont mess with me , that's not a land rover !!
WTF !

 

I can't tell you how many people have referred to my Disco as a Range Rover. Seriously, countless!! Thankfully nobody has called it a Jeep... yet...

 

Yeah I get Range Rover ALL the time.
If I had a dollar for every time someone called the Disco a Range Rover id be able to pay a full years tuition.

 

I get Range Rover all the time... Can't you see the hood? It says LAND ROVER. My ex called it a Jeep once. She's my ex for a reason! :P
