Default Finally reaping the benefits of owning a D2...

After 2 motors, lots of hard work and many parts later I was able to finally drive my Disco 5 hours to the coast and back this weekend. Not 1 light glowing in my face, no heating issues. Awesome truck, got lots of looks and actually got to use my 4wd for the first time. Thanks to all that helped me out here...

Texans have a love of gas hog vehicles of all kinds.... helps the economy. And this is a popular tire cover.

Yes they do. My D2 looked small compared to most of the pickups on the coast.

I noticed that in Moab also, many large 4x4s I felt my 99 Disco was really small. Didn't see any King Ranchers though??

What kind of wheels do you have? I've got a white disco too and was thinking of painting them. They are 16'' steel stock ones. Do you have any pics you could post up? Thanks.

Looks like he just has black steelies.

Wheels: Land Rover Discovery II & Range Rover (P38) Wheel 16 x 7

However, I would love for someone to create a thread about how to paint rims. I have thought about painting mine as well.
