finally threw some codes!!!
Hey all, normally when people get codes coming back on the scanner they race on here to complain...I know cause I'm one of them, lol. But this time I'm glad...well maybe. I have thrown p0300 and p0306 which I know is a multiple misfire and #6 misfire, and I have read a few threads on the same thing. But no one ever says if it was solved.
What is the most common cause of this, and the worst case scenario that I could be dealing with?
Just a little back ground I have not changed my plugs in a while, and when I did change them I didn't know much about the truck so I put auotlite single platinum plugs and the cheapest wires they had.
I know this is my first thing I need to change, so I am gonna get it done this week.
What else can I look for to try and clear this up?
Thanks

Most scanners decode the Rover codes.
But if not - look them up here:

The misfire codes are hit and miss.
You'll memorize them if it goes on too long.
Good luck to you.

Today I ordered the magnecor 7mm wires, intake gasket, valve cover gaskets...may as well change them now while the intake is already off, and picking up some Bosch double platinum plus 4. I hope this will fix the problem.
The guy at a.b. said the only difference in 7 and8mm is 8 will not fit and hits the top of the hood. Anyway he matched thmotorsports price for $106. For the wires.
