I took off my rear gate panel, stripped off the old vinyl cover, cleaned off the foam backing, covered it with aluminum sheet metal, going to have it rhinolined, and screw it to the tailgate. Then I am going to mount the box. It is about 15" long and about 10" tall (maybe a little off on meas but close enough). I am going to screw through the lid into the tailgate. I mounted straps to the inside for hanging support, put dividers in, and made a hinged lid for the inside to hold the tools in place when I fold it closed and to make a table when the tools are not needed. When I get everything done and reinstalled I will post a pic. Kind of gives me double duty on the table idea. I am close to done. Just need to get the panel rhinolined and then do the install. It's gonna be pretty cool.
