The good thing about the Discovery is that most repairs are DYI. Read up on head gasket repair. You've got some time before yours should go out but be ready.
Change your coolant from dexcool to Peak, run a 40 weight oil. Many including myself run Rotella Shell 15w-40. Also there's no telling when it will happen or if it will happen, but if youre heater core starts leaking be ready for that because its a huge b*tch( doing it myself right now). Or have $1200 saved for a mechanic to do it.
