Fitting for greasing center ball

Fitting for greasing center ball
So I got me a needle fitting for my grease gun in order to lube up the center ball of my new Great Basin Rover Front Shaft.
To my surprise, it took a couple of pumps and then the weld the seals the fitting to the needle blew through and all the grease came out around the needle and none went through it.
What kind of fittings are you using to grease the center ball? Also, I haven't really used any u-joints with the zerk on the cap (on the jeep they've all been in the center).
What is the best way to lube the u-joints to ensure you are getting proper lubrication to all the caps? It would seem easy to grease the zerks with all of them lined up at the bottom, but I'm wondering if I'd starve my upper cap by lubricating with that approach.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

For the center ball, you need to take a perfectly good grease needle and then bend it so that you can put the grease where it needs to go. As for making sure everything is properly greased, you pump in the grease until you see it coming out of all four joints. Check this thread: https://landroverforums.com/forum/ge...rebuild-29302/ Clean up the joints as much as you can after you are done, but still plan on seeing it flung all over the bottom of your truck and on the exhaust afterwards.
