Default Flashing M & S lights (yet again)

Hello all and thanks in advance for any suggestions.

2001 Disco II ~68K miles. Very recent comprehensive service done by me.
Codes - P 0722 Output Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal
That is the only tranny code. I have to replace an O2 sensor, but I don't think that should have any bearing on the tranny. I'm not having any engine related issued anyway.

I have searched the forums to no avail, but this is what I have done.

-Brand new battery (I needed it anyway.)
-Good alternator output. I don't remember what the voltage was, but I remember cross checking the forums and it was spot on.
- Replaced XYZ Switch twice. The second one was from a known reliable source.
- Drained tranny fluid, replaced filter, refilled. Fluid was not burned, but was not good. Ran the Disco about 10 miles and then drained the fluid and replaced the filter a second time.

I'm a very handy person and can usually figure things out. I just need a little help with this one!

Thanks again.

i would find that speed sensor and test if it's getting voltage and then test the sensor itself

I've found that this diagram is most helpful when dealing with electrical issues...especially when I'm feeling good and frustrated.
