Default Floor jack / jack stand recs for lifted Disco's

Alrighty, gotta figure out a floor jack and stands for Magpie -- Never had a lifted truck before so I don't know what'll work and what won't. Magpie currently has a 3"+ lift and has beefy tires so its.. high.

37" from ground to fender and about 18" from the ground to the chassis.

From what I can tell, most floor jacks max out around the 17-19" mark but i guess with some sort of an extension it might be ok..

Thoughts?

At $51.55 the price is certainly right, but another $63.19 for shipping's a killer.

That's a Harbor Freight jack. HF has it for $89.99, and with an easy to find HF 20% off coupon the net price would be $71.99. Occasionally HF has 25% off coupons, which would make it $67.49.

Break lug nuts loose, wooden block on jack, lift it up, remove wheels, set down on regular jackstands

I bought a Harbor Freight's Daytona 3-Ton floor jack #63183 due to its 23" max lift height for $179 with $20 off coupon. With a couple of pumps, I've got my Disco up high to crawl under her... with floor jacks in place of course!
Some say it's overkill for that price but I can afford it and it works well for lowered cars too.

I got a 4 ton floor jack at tractor supply on Black Friday year before last for $100. She's been great. Has a 24-1/4" lift I think.

For Jack stands, I'm still using a 3 ton set I got on Amazon when I first got the truck (stock height). I usually jack it up from beside the differential, remove the wheels, and set it on the jack stands at max height.

If you want taller, you've gotta increase tonnage for a jack stands. No two ways about it. Unless you build some 2x4 platforms.
