Default Flowkooler failure

Just got around to installing the flowkooler water pump i bought a year ago. Bad out of the box. Immediately leaking out weap hole. Anyone else have an issue with flowkooler?

Now to see if I can get a refund. After reading their policies might not be likely .

Yes. I've had mine on for a couple of years and it's weeping, slowly, but weaping.

I've wondered about their manufacturing process. Looks like they take pumps and pull the oem impeller off and press on a new impeller. If not done correctly it could cause problems.

have 2 on vehicles and just installed a 3rd on our only remaining rover without one. Have had zero issues with the 2 which have been running for years now.

Contact them, they have EXCELLENT support. Several people had issues and contacted them and FlowKooler sent out replacements ASAP

I have installed a BUNCH of them with zero issues and I was impressed with the quick shipping.

Thanks. Seems like just got unlucky. I'll send them a message and see what's up.

Funny thing is you rarely hear a word about installs that go smoothly.

I've heard of maybe 3 FlowKooler issues. 2 from seepy weep holes, and 1 from an impeller being bent or night 100%. All of those were corrected by FlowKooler.

It could be a lot worse. Like replacing 8 fuel injectors, priming the system, no leaks, crank the engine, it starts, it dies, attempt to start and the engine hydrolocks on FUEL.... 4 out of 8 injectors bad out of the box. Did the job all over again after removing the spark plugs and letting the fuel gush out...... Contact their customer service and get nothing but crickets.... put original injectors back & engine purrs with 0 issues! Part quality these days are something else, but a company that stands behind their stuff is superior IMHO.
