Flowkooler water pump now available?
Yes hear you. Your temps are great. Know it has to do a lot with ambient temp and even in the winter here it is usually in the 80s during the day. With this cold front that went through last few days it was 70 today and my temp didn’t go above 182 (local driving). Have tried 170 degree thermostat but no difference unfortunately. My Dad likes to give me a hard time commenting,,,weren’t these trucks in the Dakar Rally !
something is not quite right. Let me know what severe duty fan clutch and fan your using? Maybe that will help.
I’ve had my eye on the carrs4x4 ‘splitter’ for some time!

If I remember correctly, I had to grind a little metal off some spots of the fan hole because it was catching a couple spots on the clutch when I was bolting them together. Tolerances musta been a little off and honestly fan isn't best quality. But I've been using that setup for almost 2 years now without issue.
The 2991 should work with stock fan up to 02, the 03 and 04s I believe used a different one piece fan/clutch assembly. You'll sound like a dump truck most of the time and it'll rob a little power, but I actually like the sound.
Hayden 2991 fan clutch and Spectre CF15001 fan.

Can’t remember if my fan is one piece. It is stock from AB.
So what’s a suitable fan to pair with the 2991 ? Assume the Hayden heavy duty 6352 wouldn’t be aggressive enough?

@04disco2va The hayden 2991 and a dorman Dorman 620-112 Radiator Fan Assembly works well.
I tried that Hayden clutch and Dorman Fan combo, in fact mine is dang near brand new, and prolly selling it soon. Does a great job, too good in the winter, as soon as the thermostat opens up when ambient is 50f or below, it slams shut again in a hurry. It is also noisy AF, and noticeably robs power.
So, I've been working on an electric fan setup, dual 13" fans from a 2014 Ford fusion turbo, oem type setup with shroud, fits perfectly on the Disco 2 radiator (I mean, like it was designed for it almost), controlled via PWM controller. I'm still dialing in the temp sensor, but it works fantastic on the hwy, and around town so far. Of course, it's cold here in Colorado right now, so I'm holding off on making a separate thread about it until I've had a chance to test it in all temps, but so far, I couldn't be happier with how well it works.
Also, my FlowKooler water pump showed up today, will likely go ahead and install it as soon a weather permits, lil chilly out there lately, lol.

Oh yea that severe hayden clutch here in CO is awful. I had it on and drove to work. swapped back to stock at lunch for the ride home. I too have a clutch and fan for sale I guess haha Driven less than 100 miles with it.
