Default Fog light removal.

I got a used disco with brush guard with fog lights installed. The rubber guard is worn but would like to remove the lights and use them. It has a sprocket like gear to mount it but not sure how to remove it from the mount. Anyone knows how to remove it. Is there a special tool for it? Thanks

Are they stock?

If so, what year?

You take off the bumper end cap. 2-3 screws on the inner edge of the fender well and 3 screws along the bottom edge.

Then I usually use a plastic pry tool at the front center edge of the cap and pry up, there is a small plastic forked tab that slides into the bumper. At the top there are 2 tabs that release from the bumper, gently negotiate the cap off.

Now there are 3 Phillips head screws at the front of the fog you need to remove, the one that has an access hole through the end cap is for adjustment, don't plaudits that one.

If it's not clear I can snap a photo of an end cap later tonight.

Thanks guys, I need to replace those too since the reflector is rusted bad on one side. I'll be needing that instruction eventually. But, I'm pertaining to the fog lights on the brush guard. (pictures included) Thanks again

I haven't seen those before, myself, but looking at your pictures I would imagine there is a screw or bolt behind the land rover emblem on the mount. Then light slides (away from truck) until free. You then would be able to remove the mount from the guard.

PalmettoDisco, You right bro. The the assembly was so well made and you don't see a gap between the rectangular black plastic and the base. I got a flat head and pry it open. Thanks
