I didnt like mine but it depends on how much you load it down. Aside from a lift mine is stock, no heavy armor, no racks, don't haul a bunch of gear. I found them to be WAY too stiff. I had them paired with RTE 2" coils and it was like riding on a gocart. I sold that setup to a local guy that has his loaded down with all sorts of stuff and he likes them. I haven't heard anyone else say this but I had to grind the rear upper mounts to clear the shock body. When I got full articulation in the front it would partially squeeze out the rubber bushing. I went back to Stock Springs with 2" spacers and TF 4 way adjustable shocks. Much much happier with that setup.

I ask because the fox website says for 1.5-2.5" lift and the lucky8 says 3-4" lift so once again conflicting

as stated above you won't find an out of the box option that is gonna be perfect when you start lifting these due to the variety of loads/ other modifications that people have. Best bet is going to be a set of Bilstien 7100 sb 12" shocks that are valved appropriately to your set up. They used to be cheap but no good shock is going to be reasonable compared to a few years ago. I have a set of fox shocks split between two of my vehicles (got them used and can't confirm og owner where they bought them) but on my stock other than lift d2 they were super stiff. Loaded way down for a cross country drive they were great (had all 4 on that car at the time). They are not up to task in the front of my classic where 2 of them currently are which has a RTE bumper with winch and 35s.

I work for the commercial parts division of O'reilly's -Fox are quality shocks - but you might also consider Moog - if they have an application Moog is better quality

The fox shocks are built nice but when I called about having them re valved or rebuilt down the road it was around $150.00 per shock. For that much I'll just buy new TF ones.
