Bad karma... damn. It's probably not enough $$$ loss to bother with filing a claim on your homeowner's insurance. Plus, they'd almost certainly tell you to claim it on your auto policy anyway. Maybe you should also let the insurance company know that they also got your Hannibal roof rack with tent and your new MacBook Air... Then you'd have a claim!

All kidding aside, sorry to hear about that. The really sad thing is that thieves probably won't even use it and just took it because they could. It'll be sitting in the corner of a garage somewhere.

LMAO

There was a home invasion a couple of miles away just a couple of hours ago. I know, what are the odds, but just to make myself feel better, I loaded my extra magazine with 14 of these:

Just yesterday I bought a I hi-lift mount for my roof rack...
Hmmm... Is there any thing I, or anyone, could by the lock it up there? Or is it just better to take it down when not in use? The only place i'd be worried about mine in downtown. Crazy people up there, everywhere else in Asheville, every other person has a hi-lift anyways!

You know, if someone knocked on my door and told me they were going to steal my lawn mower, I would gladly give them the $50 cash they will be getting for it at the pawn shop. That way I don't have some creep running around in the back yard. Not so much the stuff as knowing someone has been on and in your stuff...
