Not sure who you're asking but I don't have any 60s tech engines in my garage.

I don't put more than 3k a year on my D1 and I have 4 seasons - I change oil and filter 1x a year on Halloween - oil will collect most condensation over winter - I live at 7500 feet and it is very dry low humidity here - there are endless filters and oil options that could be debated endlessly - youtube has lots of good comparisons - these days most filters and oils are pretty good (I do stay away from Fram) I suppose if you were trying to go 10-20K on a change it might make more difference. I use 10-40W conventional oil and it covers all the winter/summer driving from below 0 F to 90 F
