Default Front bumper damage. Options?

Broke some plastic on the top cover. I don't want to spend big bucks on a replacement yet because I have some maintenance I want to do first. I've found replacement bumpers online for $650 shipped. I plan to visit a pick n pull next weekend. Any other options for repairs for $100-200 as a temporary cosmetic fix?

Had the same thing awhile back. You might be able to find a bumper cover at a salvage yard for a couple hundred but it may have to be painted to match. I started looking for an ARB or similar on Craigslist. I got an ARB for $300 or $400 off a Disco with a bad trans. A serious and dedicated craigslist search will turn up something.

Good luck.

I just took my plastic bumper cover off and left the steel bumper. It looks ok, but I'm going to be working on welding up a new one kinda soon.

AB has a metal one for about $450. You can get it with fog lights and/or a winch mount.

Default Greetings.. How hard is it to get this bumper off?

A link or "how to" get it off would be greatly appreciated.. I think I'm gonna try that q bond with the crack I have on the bottom.. I want to work on it from behind.. I'm in NYC so it's a little cold here right now and only have limited exposure time

Not in my tips file. You might have to search for that during the cold down time, please post if found as well a description of your eventual repair.

There's a guide to removing the front bumper on page 76-2-12 of the RAVE (p. 959 of the pdf).
