Is there any way to double confirm the gasket? What am I getting myself into by swapping that? I'm fairly confident with the spanners (wrenches) but it's starting to get cold and I'm not interested in having an ongoing problem in the driveway, when I screw up the job....................

C'mon Cappedup, you're a biker man so don't wimp out on me eh. I'm 71 and been in my unheated garage all day rebuilding the old Pajero engine. Confidence eh, you won't screw up I promise, just do it.

Haha. Yes, I spend enough time in the garage sorting out the Triumph, and whatever furniture the wife has decided needs redoing.

Fortunately this one turned out to be an easy fix, torquing the bolts a bit.

Dodged a bullet....
