I’ve been working through a to-do list the last few months on my D2 and now I’m going to change my front drive shaft like everyone recommends. I’m wondering if there’s anything I need to know or look for when changing it or is it as simple as bolting on the new one?

 

Pretty much unbolt and unbolt in. Pre grease the new one before install it is easier

Bought this shield off of eBay, use the same heat shield bolts that shields the body. Your new drive shaft will be shielded from the heat coming off your cat.

 

i was thinking of doing this because I’ve had to replace 3 front shaft ( even with regular maintenance)
