Default Front drive shaft

Gooday! I have been reading up on driveshafts . My truck has 142,000 on it. I have always monitored my front shaft as my daughters 2000 went. There is a very very small bit of movement otherwise tight... Perhaps replace anyway I'm thinking!

If it doesn't have 1 on each of the 3 front front u-joints, it is an accident waiting to happen.
If you are mechanical you can rebuild them for around $110 or buy one of the newer designed ones for around $350, just do one or the other cause if it fails it will take out the tranny.

Send me your e-mail address and I'll send you a PDF file showing all that needs to be done.

I always recommend either Great Basins Rover or British Parts of Utah.

Why is that ?

The GBR HD shaft is inferior to the Tom Woods shaft and cost more. They sell a reman shaft for a few dollars less then a new Tom Woods.

British Parts of Utah looks a lot like a tom shaft but I can not tell from the pic.

The pdf instructions linked to in this thread are more accurate.
