Default Front drive shaft question?

Just picked up a 00 disco 120,000 miles I have a slight vibration on the stering wheele When I decelerate after 50 mph me and Spike 555 both agree I should start with the U-Joint! So I dont know if just replacing the universal part will cure the problem I dont want to spend the money on a rebuild just YET!! But is that what breaks and kills the trans...?

I ordered my parts from rock auto and recieved them within a few days for around $90. Then I took it to a driveline shop, in hand, and spent $65 for the labor. So for around $160 you can get yours done.

You could go to NAPA today and buy the u-jonts.
So yes, LR u-joints are easy to find. They fit more than just LR's.

What is also needed and harder to find is the required centering ball kit, like the Percision 617. If not replaced at the same time, you can be sure of a failure within weeks of the rebuild.
