I have a set of the two u-joints and centering ball kit you need for the DC part of the driveshaft. If you wanted to PayPal me $60, I can Priority Mail them on Monday. I also have a complete front driveshaft that has 60k with new u-joint and centering ball kit that have zero miles on them. I took it off my rover and rebuilt it, then went with a tom woods custom instead. To big for priority mail, but will let it go for $190 shipped.

The dealer will not rebuild your driveshaft. They will only replace it with another of the driveshafts that fail. Just take your parts and the driveshaft to a driveline shop and have them do the rebuild for you. If there is not a driveline shop in your area find an independent mechanic. The dealer is going to rip you off if they will actually do the work.

X2 on that. The dealer will sell you another driveshaft that won't have servicable u-joints.

Yaa Ak rover you called it the landrover dealer said they would replace my old drive shaft and replace it with a $900 new one! and when I asked if we should replace the Center ball kit/ Cv center yoke he said in his 20 years he never replaced that part before!!
But I did find the problem with my vibration on the stering wheele I had him pull my vin and 30,000 miles ago the owner of my new disco took it in with the same complants and my rear wheel is bent I can also see 4 big weight on the side and some scratches on the rim, So I will us that tire as my spare!
