Unhappy Front drive shaft question...

Hello ALL,

Been a long time since I have been on. I am working on helicopters more than I am on rovers and I have rebuilt 3-5 drive shafts for customers in the past but I am having a serious BRAIN FART....

I forgot how to do it....

MORE SPECIFICALLY... how to put this tool

on this part of the double cardan WITHOUT it slipping off due to it not being flat like the rest of the drive shaft components.

LOL

PLEASE ADVISE.....

(Embarrassed)

You don't. Well, if I'm really lucky it doesn't slip off. Usually though I just remove the snap rings and knock the cups out with a brass hammer.

Yeah, I clamped it in my blacksmith vice and hit them with an air hammer. Made pretty short work of it.
