Default Front driver side leakage

Hi all. Hope all is well.

I’ve researched months on this topic. Still have a few questions and picture.

So I have a solid leak from the top drivers side under sun visor. It leaks sometimes so bad it puts truck in limp mode and lights don’t work again for a day.

anyway, before I take off entire roof cover etc, here is a pic. I couldn’t find a replicate pic. Is this the issue here? Anyone have a pic of how theirs look?

Suggestions before i start ripping out the liner? The sunroof is sealed.

thanks agajn.

Could be it, have had several with that leak. Use lots of silicone there. Could also be top windshield seal. Silicone inside and out.

There was a Rover service bulletin released about this issue. It might take a bit of digging to find it. There are sealant gaps underneath that plastic piece that allow water to get inside the cabin.

Thanks. I’ll dig around for that.

incant find any other pics to compare.

is that hole in yellow supposed to be open like that if you know? Or best to seal it shut. Not sure why water and such would want to go in there. Just seems like an invitation for leaks.

thnx.

Thanks for sending. Do you have a leak as well? Seems like you have the same hole open I do.
