Default Front drivers side fluid leak...

Heya,
I am new here, so forgive me if I leave out something obvious
I have a 2002 Disco 2 SE, I am noticing a fluid leak that appears near the front drivers side wheel. It seems like it is oil, but i have constantly checked the oil level and all is well. I noticed that the power steering reservoir as well as the brake fluid reservoir are near there. I have not noticed a drop in coolant and the truck runs fine. I have heard that if you put synthetic motor oil in a truck that has previously only used non-synthetic oil that it will leak, is this BS? Any input or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Yes if you switch to full synthetic from dino oil then it will leak for a oil change or two.
Rub the fluid between your fingers and smell it, what color is it? How does it smell?
It could be power steering fluid, that is a very common leak.

I bet the kanuter valve is bad and causing the blinker fluid to leak out.

Thanks all,
It is green, so I am guessing power steering fluid. it is not sprayed all over just a slow drip, and I do not see any leaking from the reservoir.

Green means engine coolant, power steering fluid will be either red or brown, brake fluid is brown and smells really bad, transmission fluid is red, engine oil is brown, gear oil is dark brown.

Two problems, if it is green, you have the wrong coolant in it, should be Dexcool, kind of a pinkish orange. This needs to be addressed ASAP.
Tonight when the engine is cold, or in the morning, you need to fill the coolant bottle to the lid or better yet bleed the system, drive it as little as possible and see a mechanic first thing Monday morning, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Thanks,
Actually my coolant is orangeish color, and my steering fluid is greenish (CHF). I do plan to take it to my friends shop either way. The thing runs like a dream and handles fine as well.

Power steering fluid is red when new and brown as it gets older.
Let us know what you find.
By the way, when was the last time all the fluids were changed?
