Default front flange lose again

About 4 months ago I had posted that I had a horrible noise and vibration coming from my 04 disco. Thought it was the transfer case had gone but it turned out (after dropping the tc) that it was just the front flange that was lose and that tightening the nut on the flange all the play in the flange went away. No issues, noise or vibrations.
Well now 4 months later the vibrations are back and getting worse in one day...so tomorrow I am going to drop the front drive shaft again and tighten the flange nut again. But I was wondering has anyone else done this, why is it getting lose again (dont off road but I live in the country so the dirt roads can be rough) Should I red lock tite it before I tighten back up

At this point I am hoping that is what the issue is and there is some play in the flange...if not then I have no clue. But if that is what it is...should I lock tite it or no?
any ideas why it keeps coming lose

if that is the case then I need to replace the TC which is what I am trying to avoic
already paid to the have the case dropped last time and was going to replace with a used TC. when the guy who ran the place asked if Had tried to tighten the flange nut...he did it and was fine. How can I tell if it is the bearing

A: you don't need to pull the TC to replace the bearing, it's easily done from under the truck.

B: just remove the nut, apply blue loctite, and re-install with an impact cranked up to 11. The nut loosened because it is a one time use nylon lock nut. You can either replace it with a new one, or do as I suggested. Simply re-tightening it to "good'n'tight" without some form of retention won't work.

I've been trying to find the information for you in this guy...

https://discoii.files.wordpress.com/...hop_manual.pdf

But haven't had any luck with specifics on that nut. Send a PM to Abran or call up Lucky 8 and see if they know?

X1 ............ probably correct and it's causing the nut to undo due to slack in the flange splines. It may need a new bearing, flange assy and nut to sort this out for the foreseeable.
