OK so I may have gone a tad agro during the crank seal install. She's just past flush with the front engine cover. Will that be a problem, or am I being paranoid?
You're fine. The good news is that the new seal won't ride in the groove caused by the old seal on the crank snout. Probably going to be better than new.
