Default front and rear axil oil level

How do you check front and rear axil oil levelthank you

There is a plug on TOP of the differential, it will take a 1/2" drive rachet to loosen.
With the truck on level ground remove the FILL plug, stick your finger straight into the hole, if it gets wet, you are fine, if not you need to add gear lube.
Check both diffs the same way.
This is also how you check the transfer case fluid level as well.

Cool, Panzer, Thanks for posting that link, as you know My Rover is a 99 D2, and I suspect i should check my Differentials, have no clue when the last timeThey had been checked. I Think right off the BatI think I'll look into getting that copper plug X 2 and ill be rockin along nicely.!
