On DII the front brakerotors are held just by the 5 mm (or 6 mm ?) setscew, and arejust sandwitched-in between the hub and the wheel be the wheel lugs.

They are also held on by a large #4 phillips screw that usually needs to be busted loos by a hand held impact driver after applying some penetrating oil.

ok, I found and removed the + screw ( what a pain in the neck to remove it !!! ) actually I'll need to buy a new one, the head is pretty messed up.

I'm not sure where are those set screw you are talking about. I didn't see anything else holding the rotors.
but maybe that's why I couldn't get the rotor loose..[&:]....... if there is a trick to it, please share !!

I need to change the rubber seal on the pistons, i'm missing half of one, and the rubber is really dry, from where I could get those ?.
it look like my brake (at least front left) got a little stuck and over heat, as I have a large ( about 1 inch wide) blue strip on the rotor, which indicate exessive heat....

I do all my service on my bike, but I never did anything on the Disco. and I can't afford to bring to dealer for anything right now..

If the caliper has been removed and the phillips screw removed then use a bigger hammer, that is Rover number one tool besides duct tape.

That's what I meant by the Set-Screw [sm=smiley20.gif]
