Default Front Sag - Shocks?

I have a 04 DII with OME heavy duty springs and Procomp 9000 shocks. The front right side is sagging a little (1/2 inch +) and my guy says its a bad shock. I'm clearly confused as I thought that Springs controled ride hight and that the Shocks controled movement with no real load on them.

Comments from the experts please.

Thanks

You are correct that the springs support the truck. You installed the correct springs on the correct sides?

The OME springs are different heights. The Drivers side spring is a little taller than the passenger to account for your weight. When you installed the springs, did you put the taller one on the drivers side? If yes, it is normal for the drivers side to be a little higher than the passenger side when no one is in the truck.
