Default front seats

I have a 96 Disco the front seats have come apart at the seams. Has anyone ever taken these apart to sew and put back together? Difficult? should I just get seat covers and be done?

Usually when this happens, the leather is to dry to be restitched and most people have new leather installed.
When done start treating your seats with Lexol and saddle soap if you want them to last.

Just like Mike said, condition your leather no less than every 6 months, front and back seat. If you live inhot dry climates you will want to do it more often.
You can get the conditioner from any store, Target for example.
