I have a 96 discovery 1, my motor went out on my backward motion for the drivers seat, I have always intended to update the interior with a 1999-2004 seating. I cant even drive it right now, because the chair is stuck too far forward, my wife drives it now. Will the later model disco 2 seats be a direct fit to the 96 ? They look the same but, like anything looks can be deceiving. Any answers will be appreciated.

 

Different mounting points. I have a set of seats from an 01 I am going to put in my 97 someday. I just need the time to fab the rails.
