same on both sides and the pattern matches. it is not angled. the only difference, I see, is the direction of bolt entry. can not imagine it is any type of compromise to flip it
I agree with Dusty... They are 100% identical other than the side that the weld nut is on... I spent quite a bit of time looking them over while I had them out.
The only thing I can come up with for why they are installed the way they are is what I mentioned above.
I'm sure that it doesn't compromise strength or integrity at all... It just makes it easier to get the bolt in and out if you turn them around.
Does anyone have experience with these heavy duty ones mentioned here on Rovers North? I am about to get the 2inch OME HS Suspension and springs from Lucky8. I saw these tower options and was curious, since before I only knew of the TerraFirmas... the Yellow ones look sweet!

Ended up ordering some used ones from RoverLand Parts... Much less expensive than new replacements or aftermarket options... Since I'm not into rock crawling or other aggressive off-roading, I don't really see the need to upgrade to the aftermarket heavy duty ones available...
I bought some skeletal HD galvanized towers about 5 years ago from Paddock Spares made from 6mm thick metal, they were then approx £80, probably cheaper today. No problems with them.
I just bought a set of excellent used OEM off ebay. The originals have been on there for 19 years no failure. They just got too rusty at the base and will be replaced.....
I will be ordering the adjustable ones from RTE in the near future. I am looking at going outside of the normal kit lifts however so the ability to raise or lower the mounting point is the worth the extra coin imo.
I recommend the TerraFirma TF534 - they fit perfectly and look great. Spray them with clearcoat to prevent corrosion and keep them looking good otherwise you'll see a very noticeable change in appearance in less than a year.
