Front U-joints Bad, Drive on rear only?

I bought the Tom Woods driveshaft. Very easy company to deal with. Shaft came 2 days later. I bought it with the premium spline, that gives it more travel, also might help reduce vibration with a longer spline. No vibration noticed up to 70 mph, I have not gone over 70 yet, to much traffic. Glad I don't have to change Cv joint's now. All the vibration was from the old drivelines bad u joints.

just today i changed my driveshaft for the 3rd time! I'm like a driveshaft ninja now.

this time, my shaft was rebuilt by ToddCo. Crazy how much wimpier it is than the TW.

but the real test will be to hit 80mph on the commute Monday.

Is there a way to lock out the front driveshaft. I took the driveshaft off the front and the new rebuilt one won't be ready for a couple days.
