Default front wheel hub replacement

I have a 2004 Discovery that I purchased new and now use as a secondary vehicle. It currently has about 112,000 miles on it. I put between 2000 and 5000 miles on it annually and usually stay local.

The front wheel hub on the passenger side has gone bad and it needs to be replaced. I also need to replace the front brake rotors and pads. Does anyone have any experience with the wheel hubs on Amazon and made by TRQ (2 for $140)versus the one by British Atlantic (for $300)?

Note: I couldn't get the links to work.

Thanks.

For hubs, check out LR Direct, they are cheaper even with shipping

i haven't had the pleasure of needing hubs yet, but when i was searching for abs sensors, and was under the impression that i needed an entire hub unit and not just a replacement sensor, many people recommened the cheap Ebay hubs and only good things to say about them.

Now, i havnt seen any long term reports with the Ebay hubs. i think the most mileage ive seen was around 10,000. so take that info with a grain of salt. if i were in your shoes, i would give them a shot. it should only take about an hour to change one.

Thanks. What's the difference between the different TAY100060 parts? For instance, TAY100060.C8 versus TAY100060.L8?

The manufactures and warranties

I went with the cheap britpart for both rear hubs with a 2 year warranty and zero issues after 7k miles.

Whoa. Shipping costs from the UK for two wheel hubs are $48.

Are you surprised at that cost considering they are probably heavy?

Just thought they might be somewhat comparable to Amazon.
