Front wheel seal replacement?

Default Front wheel seal replacement?
How much of a pita is doing the driver front wheel seal? I think mine is leaking...

I did the seals on my D1 and it wasn't too bad..I'm trying to think which seal you're talking about on a DII..it's a unit bearing..do you mean the big O-ring in there?

Ain't got a clue. Just noticed a lot of oil on that wheel on the outside.

Can't be done, have to replace the entire hub assembly.

Uhh some one built that assembly.. Why can't I rebuild it with a new seal? Just asking!

Cause you can't and there are no parts available.
What exactly is leaking and from where? What color is the grease and is the hub warn/loose?

There are front axle seals.

Yes, there are, that is why I wrote back and asked him where is is leaking from, the outer seal, being and bad hub or the inner seal, being gear oil.
