Default front wiper slow speed relay

hey guys,

i have been searching and research my issue for over a month and cannot ID a solution. i've confirmed that the problem: isn't the lever (i hear the faint click) when i turn the switch, isn't the motor (wipers run on high speed), fuse 19 is fine too.

does this sound like a relay issue? if so, is it one of the yellow relays located in the drivers' side fuse box?

sorry to be annoying with this.

front wiper slow speed relay
A relay is a component not a description of problem or symptoms.

Unable to decipher your post or read your mind from this far away. What are wipers doing or not doing and in what switch positions?

Sorry number9, I should have been clearer. I was asked my if I should replace the relay which controls the front wipers when they are switched to intermittent or slow speed?

I've cleaned the lever and the wipers work when I pull down on the switch for a burst.

I was asking where the relay is which controls intermittent and slow setting?

Supposed to in cabin fuse box but after looking at the manuals unable to find which position. It may be in position 5 or 6 unless you have daylight running lights? It's too cold for me look at mine at the moment.

I do have running lights, I will check the fuse box-is there a way to test relays?

OK after rereading the description and operation again it doesn't look like the mystery wiper relay affects the slow/int operation of the wipers. I believe it's just for parking wipers when off.

Recently looked into this because of another thread. The motor has a fast and a slow/int brush. Slow brush used more and will typically wear faster. You may have a bad motor and would have to remove the connector to check for power from both circuits to determine that. If I knew my switch was good and planning to check for power I'd want to have a replacement motor in hand. If not the motor it would likely be a bad wire going to it.

so i grabbed a wiper motor on ebay, it should arrive in 3 days...hopefully it's slow speed brushes have some life in them. i am thinking of replacing the relay too...do you know how i can find one?

also, my wiper fluid pump isnt working...not sure where the problem is, on the pump, the switch or the wiring. any idea how i can test to see where the issue is?
