When I push my fuel door button it releases. You can hear the actuator.
My problem is when I finish fueling and close the door it won't stay closed.
The door hits on this little silver pin thing that I can push in and out.
I have to have someone wait for me to push the button and then close the
door real fast. [&:]

Whats broke, how do I fix it?

i has a similar problem. There is a plastic fastener that connects to the gas cap door. There is a stud on the plastic fastener that keeps it in place. If that stud is broken the faster moves around and locking the door is hit or miss. The part is 10 bucks at Land Rover.

I had the exact same problem. 10 bucks at the dealer, and 3 minutes of my time got the problem licked.
