Default Fuel door pics wanted

Can somebody with a working fuel door latch please take pics of the latch assembly? I need good quality pics of the latch on the door (both sides) and on the car. I feel like mine is missing a piece cause it doesnt work unless i hold my finger on the door flap until the last second at closing. Otherwise the flap sags and doesnt catch.

Flaccid and pathetic

Virile

Order an extra. I came close to snapping the guide tab trying to install the new one. The pivot nubs were worn on the old one and wouldn't remain "locked" in,

@ace10 thanks for pics, but what keeps it virile? I just bought that new part and mine is flacid. Can you share a pick of the backside?

Have you got the plastic parts fully seated against the metal?

I had to used pliers to get it to seat all the way in.

You do realize that your choice of words has the potential to subject you to all kinds of ridicule from your fellow roverites?

Had my eye's squinted shut in terror when reading his response

@ace10 I'll check later today and respond. I thought I seated it, but possibly not.

mine looks like yours, but sadly it just hangs.I checked what I ordered and it's the same part# you referenced. I think maybe the door metal is bent or too thin cause of missing paint so the plastic isn't gripping. I'll add something to thicken it a little, like tape or maybe paint some layers on.

I think your metal tab is damaged. It actually looks broken and bent.

Maybe try a strip of helicopter tape or fabric electrical tape on the backside to increase friction?

I've heard of Peyronie's disease before, I guess now I've seen it.
