fuel filter for '04 Discovery 2 SE

Default fuel filter for '04 Discovery 2 SE
Advanced Auto sold me a fuel filter but we couldn't find one to replace. I asked a Land Rover tech who said there isn't a fuel filter on it.

Who is right? Is there a fuel filter somewhere on this model?

the fuel filter is in the tank on the pump looks like a sock, if you have what looks like a regular fuel filter they gave one for a D1, return it.

Never trust the counter people at the parts store, most of them don't have a clue.
The mechanic is right.
So, are you having a problem with your truck, if so what is it?

What Mike said, the parts counter people only know what the computer tells them, and it tells them to sell parts.
