Post Fuel Filter Location?

Hello! I am trying to find the location of the fuel filter on a Discovery I 1996 ?

Just bought it and replacing filters.

It is in the wheel arch of the right rear wheel.

you may want to spray it with PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench for a day or two before you try to take it off. The connectors tend to get corroded and difficult to remove after years of dirt, grime, mud and salt. I sprayed mine on Friday night and removed it on Saturday, pretty sure it was original (after 8 years). Came right off. Some remove the tire/wheel for better access. I have never done it but it would certainly make for easier access. Good luck. Phil

Replace your fuel filter once a year to keep it from rusting in place and use Anti-Seize on the filter threads.
You can get the filter at Wal-Mart for $12.
