Default Fuel Guage seems to be stuck on full Or I am a lucky man !!

I filled up on Saturday afternoon and I have gone about 60 miles and the fuel guage is still showing a full tank. Should I just wait till I burn off some more and see what happens ?

Any suggestions ?? Mine is an 04 Disco with 68K on the clock

Maybe somebody is putting gas in your tank at night. lol

I'd wait until I hit 200 miles before I'd worry. If it doesnt move by then then you have a problem.

ha that is an ironic problem.

i agree with spike... run it around for awhile and see what happens. just don't plan any expeditions into the desert until you've got it sorted out!

If you filled up your gas tank to the brim you can go approximately 100 km before the gauge starts to move. You probably filled up the pipe linking the gas tank to filler cap. Run it for a while and see what happens.

Or if you're really lucky, as Spike said, somebody is putting up gas in your truck at night.

thanks everyone, I'm just gonna run it for a while and see what happens. Come to think of it when I filled up on Saturday It did overspill.

I noticed this effect too, Jull, as with pretty much all vehicles I own. I think our Jeep will go as much as 1.5 gallons past "full".
